Home sweet home. Due to some unfortunate weather conditions in Tallahassee, we managed to be home a little earlier than expected after a few hours in the van in the rain. Otherwise, though, we had an extremely positive time on the road, enjoying the scenic view of Georgia, the amazing people at Koinonia Farm, and one of the best venues we've ever gotten a chance to work with -- Cafe Campesino. All of the work that they did to make our show there a success paid off well for us, and we
are deeply appreciative of all the positive experiences they made
possible. rd&tfb love you Americus! Pictures and video coming soon.
Also, word from CD Baby is that our album will be available there in the next several days! 11 January, 2010
Sincere thanks to all who made it out to share the joy of releasing our CD with us! You're all so special to us, and we really couldn't have done it without you! If you didn't manage to make it out to the show, you can buy the album from the band members, or in thestore section of our site. The album will be sold on CD Baby very soon as well. Finally, please note that all of the lyrics are available on this site as well. Check the music section! Once again, we can't thank you, the listeners enough for supporting our music. Love, rd&tfb 6 January, 2010
Happy New year, rd&tfb fans! The band and I are thrilled that our album is finally complete, and is scheduled for release on Saturday,
January 9th at the PDCSC in Gainesville and January 10th at Trinity
Presbyterian Church in Palm Coast, Florida! Please check the shows section of the site for details. Hopefully we'll see you there! For out of state/out of town fans, the album will be available in our store and will soon be available at CD Baby as well! In addition, the East Coast tour is evolving into a Southeast tour, and as such, we'll be playing across the state of Florida and venturing into Georgia over the next couple of weeks. Again, details are posted on the shows page. Thank you for your continued support!

Several
exciting things are going on right now with the band including the
shooting/editing of a music video that should be available to the
public reasonably soon. It will be informative, quirky, fun,
and
will feature one of the songs from our upcoming album. The other
breaking news is that the long-awaited STORE section of this website is
finally functional! You can now get all of your
rd&tfb merch
online! Just in time for the holidays, even though we support
the
idea of a "buy nothing Christmas." We'll go ahead and leave that
decision up to you though. Thanks for supporting music.
love,

Thanks to everyone who has kept
in touch with us
lately! It was wonderful to
meet all of you who came out
to the Deland Festival, and we're looking
forward
to seeing the rest of you again soon! It's also been our
pleasure
to do some mixing for the album lately, and it's coming along slowly but
surely. The release party is on its way, we promise!
In the meantime, we're also working on
another music video that you should be on the lookout for.
You've probably noticed the changes we've made to the website that we hope
you'll enjoy, and we've added
several new photos, and
even a video from the Deland Festival! Check it all out!
Thanks for supporting music! rd&tfb love you! 13 November, 2009
It is our pleasure to remind you that the 9th Annual Deland Songwriter's
Festival in historic downtown Deland is
tomorrow! The
festival is all day long at a variety of venues, but rd&tfb will be
performing at Pioneer Park on the corner of Woodland
Blvd. and Rich Ave. (map)
Our set is to start at 5:00pm and we look forward to seeing
you there!

Hello, friend! The Band and I are excited to share that we had the
opportunity to spend Friday evening and parts of Saturday talking about
Peacemaking in today's world at a
conference led by Rick
Ufford-Chase, long time peace activist, non-profit founder,
and former moderator of the PC(USA). It was quite an
experience, and we were thrilled
to be a part of it and to share some of our music with those
attending the conference. It's definitely given us some ideas
about what our next
step could be as a band, and we're
thrilled to have been there. Also we'd like to
publicly thank Kelly, Parrish, Skip and everyone else involved in
putting on the conference!

Since
RD has recently relocated to begin a new job, things have been a bit
slow with raymondale and the Family Band for the past month. We are
extremely excited, however, about this past weekend, during which the
band laid vocal tracks for every song on the ablum! That
means
production is coming to a visible end. The project is sounding great so
far, and is only getting better with each session we spend on it.
In
other news, be on the lookout for your favorite
alt-folk-inde-sibling-trio at Lightnin' Salvage behind Satchels' at the
end of this month! We'll be playing the usual LSE time slot
(6-9pm) and are excited to be back! 30 August,
2009
Guess what? Lightnin'
Salvage has invited us back to entertain again! September
30th, the band will take the stage at one
of our favorite Gainesville venue. Also, note the new photos that have been
posted on our page. Some of you may find pictures of yourselves in the
fan photos section. Nice mustaches! The album is moving along
slowly, but is sounding
terrific. The band and I are very happy with it and can't wait for you to hear it!
See you soon! 24 August, 2009
Great news, friends!
An invitation has come along, and as a result, we
(raymondale and the Family Band) will be
playing a show THIS
FRIDAY, August 28th, with our
amazing friends, redboy and Wolf in the Fold! The downside to
this gig is that it's a 21+ venue. The show will
be at Brophy's Irish Pub in Gainesville, FL. (60 SW 2nd St.)
Music typically starts at 10:00pm at this venue, so it'll
definitely be a later show as well.
Hopefully some of you will make it
out, and for all of you that are underage, we promise to
play our next gig at an all ages venue! Peace, love and
music! -RD

Hey everybody. To start off with the bad
news, it seems
like the album release is being moved back a month. The good
news is that
it's sounding FANTASTIC, and the reason we're pushing
the date back is to keep our pace bearable and to end up with a final
project that we're proud
of and excited for you all to hear! The other good news is that
there are several potential shows in the
planning stages. Be on the lookout for that. Also, we recently
came across a blog by Satchel (owner of
Satchel's Pizza and Lightnin' Salvage) that mentions us in a positive
light. Here is a link
to that. Enjoy!

Hey rd&tfb fans! The band and I have had a fantastic
long weekend that we started on Thursday with a live show at Lightnin'
Salvage, one of our absolute favorite places in Gainesville, FL.
The show went well and was followed by a full Saturday of
laying drums, bells, trumpet, shaker, and percussion tracks for our
album Consider the Birds,
which is scheduled for release in September!
And here we are Sunday night launching the website, which
we've been working on for quite some time now. Please enjoy
the site,
and know that your feedback is always welcome. Our contact
info is
available on "contact" page of this site. Thanks for visiting!
